Here we are - driving up to Laramie for Josh's birthday dinner!

Josh and Bartholomew. This is the worldest cutest kitten - his blue eyes do not show - but they are crazy ocean/sky blue!

A bush with little berries along our walking route near the mall.

View on our walk - walking along Horsetooth Road - ahead of us is horsetooth mountain - can't really see the horsetooth at the top in this photo - but trust me, it is there.

We have finally done it! Moved to Fort Collins, Colorado. 2 weeks today and we are absolutely thrilled! Fort Collins is wonderful. We have gotten to spend time with family. Met with our first clients and are on our way to getting them online and profitable. Murfee and I are walking 1.5 miles every other day - we even have a 2 & 3 mile route mapped out when we are ready. The cats are fairly settled. We are getting to the fun part of setting up our house, our pictures and favorite art pieces are finally getting their new homes.
Tomorrow we hope to go to Idaho Springs for the day. Spend some time at Mirror lake on Mt. Evans and have some Lumpy's at Tommyknockers. YUM!
Janelle is out working in the yard & garage now, I need to get to work on the rest of our proposal for the Dragon.
Just had to post a note - hopefully now I will have more time to sit at my desk and write for myself. Butterfly is so happy to finally be following her rainbow!
Peace to all.

So I have this $3 bird feeder I picked up at Wal-Mart, first I put a seedy mix in it, birds seemed to like it OK but they could empty it in a day. This tiem I picked up a bag of black oil sunflower seeds and peanuts. The birds coming to the window are georgous! This red bird is small, finch - no, bigger than a finch, I will need to go get my book, the females are all brown. Anyway - the cat's love to sit at the window, Sam is going to be a pug soon, how many times does he have to smash his face against the window to figure it out? Missy is much classier, just twitches her tail and calls them in... she is too funny!
So, after our trip to Laramie, WY & Greeley, CO we decided it is time - well, it is not really time, the time has just come to stop putting it off and do it. There is nothing more I can do for my family here. I am not where I want to be, I want to live differently! So, we are going to go. First week of September we will be out in CO looking for a rental house and jobs. If all goes as planned we will be moved in by the first of Oct.!
I am working on getting my resume to mail out to about 8 potential employers right now. So that's the plan!

OK - so I looked it up... found a good site that reminded me how to figure it and gave me all the
definitions, so 3, I am in year 3, a month into it... (see
http://www.acumind.com/Joe/persyr.html for the info!) Hopefully they don't mind I am sharing it... the following is copied from the site.
PERSONAL YEAR THREE:
This is a year of vigorous activity and involvements... much to do, places to go, people to see and seeming little time to handle it all. Most of all, this is an emotional year. Could be upbeat and joyful emotion or depressing and worrisome. It all depends on the frame of mind and feeling you brought with you when 2008 began. Your THREE year is a time to express your joyful side, whether it is becoming more social or entering into fun-loving activities with others. Try to enjoy yourself. This is a year to allow friendships, family, love & happiness replace last year's sadness.
PERSONAL YEAR (3):
You can expect life to step up the pace of your activities. Last year during your (2) year, the forces of nature were at low ebb and you discovered that high achievement and successful forward motion seemed delayed and somewhat resistant at every turn... well, not this year. However, if you have chosen to carry your worry and sadness from last year into this year, you will have difficulty, emotionally.
The expanding and regenerative energies of the (3) will offer you more opportunity to be social, have more fun, express yourself in whatever medium you choose (writing, painting, speaking, crafts, parties, etc.) and just generally experience more personal freedom to accomplish.
All of these new waves of hope and excitement are set to open for you if you've been able to shake the doldrums and clouds of doubt/disappointment experienced last year. You have to be willing now in 2008 to hold your head high and have the confidence and courage to move forward for renewal and rebirth.
Doors open during the year of the (3)... people make things happen for you as income and confidence increases. Be careful, however, not to over do it... the enthusiasm and optimism of the (3) can induce haste, so one must not act without consideration. Be moderate. There's always a tendency to take on too much responsibility, be extravagant and foolishly over zealous. In other words, don't scatter your energies, for your thoughts and desires will be running at full tilt and you could simply end up spinning your wheels.
There's a feeling of great relief felt during the (3) Personal Year you sense that life has finally recognized you and your abilities and is offering you a chance to be reborn. Experience these energies as a blessing and a gift, but don't take them for granted. They'll support you and uplift you throughout the year as long as you are positive, hopeful and willing to try new directions. However, if you entered 2008 in a depressed and self-pitying way, you'll likely miss the dynamic opportunities awaiting you. That would be very unfortunate since the energies of the (3) offer too much promise for success. To the (3), negative feelings and depression are dysfunctional since the (3) is an energy of brilliance, hope and enthusiasm that absolutely refuses to accept less than 100% effort. It lives in the now and promises to be your mentor (throughout 2008) as long as you change your attitude and seek positive growth. Your choice !!So - that was a little long - but now I have access to it & can look back at it... look up your personal year, share with me where you are at - I would love to know!

OK - so here it is, I have started my blog! Why? Good question. I suppose we all need an outlet right. MySpace is not really MyScene... feels like a bunch of kids, probably because everyone I know on there is either there to keep track of their kids or young enough to be mine! Ha... not that it's a bad thing - it is just different. And since I have not been journaling a lot lately - maybe getting into an electronic jourlan will help me, and if anyone wants to add their two cents then that will just give me more to think about right?
Another reason is probalby my timing - my life is going through a big change again... I really need to figure my numerology thing - this is a year of change - I have no doubt! A typical metamorphasis, yet again.
Time to find a new home. Over a year past my 2 year limit for helping Mom with the house, we have put our lives on hold for far too long. Unfortunatley finding a rental to allow a dog and 2 cats in an area we want to stay in is tough in our price range... sure, if we want to pay extra for each pet every month - but my cats are old and my dog has shoulder problems so we don't need the big yard anymore, and as long as she is not being stubborn she listens well, - HA that is a whole other blog post! Murfee - look forward to that one!
So the stress in my life will lighten greatly when we are out of this house. Mom will be able to get it ready to sell and hopefully move on with her life as well. The time has come!
